Obituary

Charles K.Sadowski,owner and operator of the S & K Barbecue,fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi,died suddenly in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital Tuesday,Jan.14,1964,at 4:55 a.m. Mr.Sadowski lived in Fairhope,fayette City R.D.1. He was a member of St.Joseph P.N.A. of Donora,P.N.A.of Arnold City,Washington Twp.Water Authority,and Good Will Hunting Club of Farmington. He was born in Charleroi March 4,1910. Surviving are his widow,Mary Anna,one son,Charles K.Jr.,at home,two daughters,Mrs.Edward (Barbara) McKita of Cranford,N.J.and Mrs.Reginald (Beverly) Kostelac of Belle Vernon,his mother,Mrs.Dan Perry of Pontiac,Mich.,two brothers,William of Fayette City R.D.1,and Joseph of Belle Vernon,five sisters,Mrs.Ward (Sylvia) Huntley and Mrs.Anthony (Mary) Steinberg,of Belle Vernon,Mrs.Ray (Helen) Glanb of Detroit,Mich.,Mrs.Bernie (Frances) Gillen of Birmingham,Mich.,and Mrs.Leroy (Blanche) Newton of Union Lake,Mich. and one granddaughter. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,where Prayer will be held Saturday,Jan.18,1964,at 9:30 a.m.followed by Requiem Mass at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian's R.C.Church,Belle Vernon. The Rev.Martin J.O'Toole,pastor,will act as celebrant. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at the funeral home Friday evening,Jan.17,at 7:30 p.m. Howard W.McCrory,funeral director.
