Charles Labutis,56,of 3216 West St.,Weirton,was dead on arrival Wednesday,April 10,1968,at 1 p.m.at Weirton General Hospital. He was born Aug.4,1911,in Fayette County,Pa.,a son of the late Joseph and Julia Kessel Labutis. Mr.Labutis resided in Weirton for the past two years,coming from Hanlin Station. He retired in 1967 from Weirton Steel Division. He is a veteran of World War II. He is survived by two daughters,Sandra and Charla Labutis,both of Weirton;two sons,Joseph E.Labutis of Weirton and Carl Labutis of Imperial,Pa,;one brother,Anthony Labutis of Weirton,and two grandchildren. Friends may call at the Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home Thursday,April 11,1968,from 7 to 10 p.m.and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m.in the funeral home with Major Robert Griffin of the Salvation Army officiating.
