Charles F. Lambert,aged 71 years,Belle Vernon, died Thursday morning,May 24,1951 at 2:35 a.m. in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital. Mr. Lambert was superintendent of the Belle Vernon Cemetery for the past 35 years. He was an elder of the Belle Vernon Presbyterian Church and superintendent of the Sunday School. He is survived by his widow,Mrs. Sarah Breakwell Lambert;four sons, Gordon,of Bradford,Chester and Edwin,of Belle Vernon,and Harold,of North Charleroi;two daughters,Mrs. Robert Flanigan,of Aliquippa,and Mrs.David Scholl,of Belle Vernon;two brothers,Chester of Jackson,Ohio,and Bushnell of Bessemer,Alabama;one sister, Mrs. Daisy Halboch,Stewart,Florida and 10 grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home,Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held Sunday evenng at 7:30 p.m. from the funeral home with Rev. George Kress in charge. Interment will be on Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L. Melenyzer,funeral director.
