Charles F. King,Sr.,72,of 207 Schoonmaker avenue, Monessen,died Friday, Dec. 28,1956 at 5:05 p.m. in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. He had been employed as a watchman at the Page American Chain & Cable Co.,Division,Inc. for the past 27 years. He is survived by his wife,Mrs. Stella King; two sons, Charles Jr.,of Monessen and Richard of Donora; two daughters,Mrs. Michael (Stella) Andricovich and Mrs. Vince (Jane) Cheroki of Monessen;seven grandchildren;one great-grandchild and three sisters, Mrs.Margaret Joyce of Cleveland,Mrs. Rose Wells of Youngstown and Mrs. Maude Dalton of Pittsburgh. Friends are being received at Yoney Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Dec. 29 and visiting hours will be from 1 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Monday,Dec. 31,1956 at 10:15 a.m with additional services at 10:30 am. at St. Leonard R.C.Church with Rev. Martin O'Toole officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Stephen D. Yoney, funeral director.
