Private services and burial were held Saturday in Belle Vernon Cemetery for Charles E. Trenk; 71; of Belle Vernon; who died Thursday; Dec. 1; 2005; in his home. A son of the late Paul and Elizabeth Kovatch Trenk; he was born in Belle Vernon on March 13; 1934. Mr. Trenk had attended Marion Presbyterian Church and retired after 30 years of service from the Elizabeth-Forward School District where he taught chemistry. Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law; Joseph and Mary Vera Trenk; William Trenk; and Diane Trenk; all of Belle Vernon; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by a brother; George A. Trenk; in 2003.
