Obituary

Charles D. Dutchko, 68, of Belle Vernon, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, in West Penn Hospital following a brief illness. He was born June 27, 1937, in Monessen, a son of the late Peter Dutchko and Helen Ruth Steiner Dutchko. He was a member of First Christian Church in Fayette City, where he served as a Deacon. He was an employee of Local 354 of the Plumbers and Pipefitters of Youngwood and had served on the Credit Union Board of the union for 15 years. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Paula Gaydos Dutchko, three daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and John Thomas, of Flatwoods, Beth and Keith Peer, of Belle Vernon (Fairhope), and Cindy and Mike Connors, of Oil City, and six grandchildren, Drew Molinari, Charles Stephenson, Shayna and Christian Connors, and Cameron and Samantha Peer. Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was his brother, James Dutchko. Friends will be received at the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC., 1209 Grand Blvd., Monessen, a Golden Rule Funeral Home, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 11 a.m., followed by interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Mr. Dutchko's name be made to First Christian Church, Fayette City.
