Charles Christopher Massey;8;of 120 Long Ave.;Fairhope;was dead on arrival Friday;Jan.21;1977;at 7 p.m.at Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital after being struck by a hit and run vehicle. A third grade student at Marion Elementary School in Fairhope;he was born Aug.28;1968;in North Charleroi. He was a member of Cub Scout Den 3 and Church of the Nazarene;both of Belle Vernon. Survivors include his parents;Charles and Audrey Lilley Mssey; two sisters;Melissa Lynn and Melinda Ann;both at home;paternal grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.Jules Massey of Monessen;maternal grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.Emerson Lilley Jr.of Belle Vernon;maternal great-grandmother;Mrs.Kate Givens of Monessen;maternal great-grandfather;Emerson Lilley Sr.of Belle Vernon;paternal great-grandmother;Mrs.Viva Lovas of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received at the Hhoward W.McCrory Funeral Home;Main St.;Fatyette City;after 4 p.m.Saturday. Services will be held in the funeral home Monday at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.Kenneth E.Neiderhiser of Church of the Nazarene;Belle Vernon;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
