Obituary

Charles Boruso,31 Overhill Drive,Monessen,died Saturday,March 17,1984,at 4:55 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital,Carroll Twp. He was 75. Mr.Borruso was born in Italy on March 26,1908,a son of the late Thomas and Anna Drago Borruso. He was a member of St.Cajetan Church in Monessen and the Italian Society of Mutual Aid. A resident of Monessen the past 74 years,he was retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.,Monessen plant,in 1972. He was employed in the wire mill department. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by his wife,Julia,on Feb.23,1973,and three sisters,Nancy Borruso,Ann Makula,and Virginia Borruso. Survivors include two sons,Thomas J.Barruso of Pittsburgh and Anthony C.Borruso of Connellsville,four grandchildren,and three sisters,Mrs.Ralph (Rose) Trilli of Monessen,Mrs.Andrew (Joseph) Evonko of Charleroi,and Mrs.Frances Hrebnar of Monessen. Friends will be recieved at the Raymond D.Dalfonso Funeral Home,441 Reed Ave.,Monessen,on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m.and 7 to 9 p.m. Blessing services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St.Cajetan's Church in Monessen with the Rev.P.Lino Ramellini officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Prayer services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday evening. The Raymond D.Dalfonso Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
