Obituary

Charles Anthony Hook, 56, bricklayer foreman at the Monessen plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co., died suddenly of an apparent heart attack Monday morning,March 16,1964, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mary Ann) Boltz, Long Branch Borough. He resided at 418 Hill St., Belle Vernon. Mr. Hook was a member of St. Sebastian R. C. Church, Belle Vernon and the Holy Name Society of the church. Surviving are his widow, Ann Sousae Hook, his mother, Mrs. Margaret Hook, Pittsburgh, his daughter, Mrs. Boltz, three grandchildren, a brother, George Hook of Ontario, Calif. and a sister, Mrs. John (Helen) Flaherty, Braddock. Friends will be received at the Harold R. Toner Funeral Home, Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m., beginning Tuesday. Services will be held Thursday,March 19,1964,at 10 a.m.from St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon. Iterment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
