Charles A.Jones;Sr.;61;of Perryopolis;died in the Connellsville hospital;Thursday;September 8;1955;at 10:30 a.m.  Mr.Jones was born in Belle Vernon;the son of Mr.and Mrs.Clarence M.Jones.  He was a member of the Harmony Presbyterian Church;the Perryopolis Lions club;and the F.O.E.of Fayette City.  He and his son;Charles;Jr.were proprietors of the Jones Garage;Route 51;Star Junction.  He is survived by his wife;Marie Jones;two sons;Charles;Jr.; of Star Junction;Allan of Donora;one brother;Clyde F.Jones of Belle Vernon;two sisters;Mrs.Mary Everett and Mrs.Lillie Hendrickson of Belle Vernon;and three grandchildren;Karen;Carol and Barbara Jones.   Friends will be received at the Ira Blair and Sons Funeral Home in Perryopolis.  Services will be held there Monday;September 12;1955;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.Leroy Dinger.  Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Ira Blair and Sons of Perryopolis;in charge.
