Charles A. Prewitt,aged 78 years,619 Reed avenue,died at his late home on Tuesday,May 29,1951 at 11:45 p.m. The deceased was a member of the Red Men Lodge and Pocahontas Lodge,Columbus,Ind.and was employed by the Pittsburgh Steel Company for the past 33 years. He is survived by his wife,Minnie O. Prewitt;a daughter,Mrs. Pearl Dittman,Monessen;three brothers, J. Frank,Monessen,Jess E.,Columbus,Ind.,and Harry C. Prewitt,Belle Vernon,and a sister,Mrs. Clara Sawyer,Denver,Colo. Friends are being received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home,262 Donner avenue until Friday,June 1,when funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. with Rev. Allan J. Howes of the Methodist Church officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. C.L. Melenyzer and E.F. Melenyzer,funeral directors.
