Charles A. Schmidt;aged 73 years;died Thursday;August 28;1941;at 12:10 p.m.after a two weeks illness due to a heart condition. He died at the home of his brother;Rudolph Schmidt;Sr.;111 Water street;Belle Vernon;where he had made his home since his retirement from the employ of the B & O R.R.company. The deceased formerly resided in Oakland;Pa. Surviving are two brothers;Rudolph and William;of McKeesport;three sisters;Mrs.Garfield Price;of Belle Vernon;and Mrs.Bowman French and Mrs.Pearl Dowdell;of Wilkinsburg. Friends will be received at 111 Water street until Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock;when services will be conducted by Rev.H.F.Pierce;of the Methodist Church. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
