Charles A. Jones Jr.; 86; of Star Junction; died Monday; Sept. 13; 2004; in Baldock Nursing Centre; North Huntingdon. Born in Belle Vernon on Sept. 2; 1918; he was a son of the late Charles A. Sr. and Marie Smith Jones. He was a retired garage owner and Protestant by faith. Mr. Jones served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law; Karen and Kenneth Hodge of West Newton; three grandchildren; Jennifer Stangroom and husband Jim; Timothy Hodge and wife Jamie; and Christine Storgard and husband Martin; two great-grandchildren; Brandon and Emily Hodge; and two nieces. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife; Grace L. Jones; and one brother; Allan Jones. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC.; 580 Circle Drive; Sweeney Plan/Rostraver Township; where funeral services will be held Wednesday; Sept. 15; at 11 a.m. with Pastor Frank Todaro officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery; Rostraver Township.
