Celia Fawcett, 94,died Thursday March 10,1960, at 3:15 p.m. in the Uniontown Hospital. Until three years ago she made her home with her nephew, Jack Frazier of 403 Short St., Belle Vernon. Prior to a fall on Saturday when she vas taken to Uniontown Hospital, she had been a nursing home resident. Born in Rostraver Twp., Aug. 23, 1865, she was a charter member of the Christian Church, Belle Vernon and had taught the adult Bible Class of the church until she was 85 years old. She was a practical nurse. Surviving are five nieces, seven nephews, many great and great-great nieces and nephews and one great-great-great nephew. Friends will be received at the Shelby Ferguson Funeral Home, Broad Ave., Belle Vernon,beginning Saturday,March 12,at 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday,March 14,at 1:30 p.m.from the funeral home,with the Rev.E.M.Oaks and the Rev.John Bowers officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby Ferguson,funeral director.
