Mrs. Celestia Fleming,widow of the late Hugh Fleming of Monessen,died Wednesday,May 19,1948,at her home in Mercer,where she recently moved. Surviving are four children;Richard of Meadville,Robert of Columbia,Mrs. Thomas Petrus of Lock Four,and Jessie of Mercer;one sister,Mrs. John Glenn of Monessen;three brothers,James McKenna of Rostraver Township,John of Charleroi,and Fred of Greenville,and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Check Home for Funerals until Saturday,May 22,when services will be held at 9:30 a.m.,followed by additional rites at 10 a.m. at St. Leonard's Church with Rev. Owen J. Kirby officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Joseph R. Check,funeral director.
