Cecilia Chornak, 90 of Arnold City, Belle Vernon, PA, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022 in Westmoreland Manor. She was born March 18, 1932 in Arnold City, PA, daughter of Walter "Butch" Wozniak and Anna Bialon Wozniak.She was retired from the US Postal Service at the Belle Vernon office, member of Epiphany of Our Lord Parish, Monessen, Pa., and former member of Holy Spirit RC Church, Fayette City, Pa. She was a 1950 graduate of Marion High School. Cecilia enjoyed playing cards,trips to the casino and traveling with her childhood friend Fran Kramrich Olesky. The family with like to thank the staff of B-2 Westmoreland Manor, Dr. Gregory and Heartland Hospice for their compassionate care of their mom.
She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Skira of Arnold City, Michelle Crawford and husband Gary of Greensburg, son, Michael Chornak and wife Nancy of South Park, granddaughter, Michelle Skira of Arnold City, grandson, Randy Crawford and wife Dawn of FL., grandson, Michael Chornak of OH., granddaughter, Katie Fisher and husband Nathan of Butler; six great grandchildren, Indigo Crawford, Chance Crawford, Helena Crawford, Rhett Fisher, Landry Fisher and Dalton Fisher, niece, Claudia Stewart, niece, Deborah Zadrozny, niece, Cynthia Wozniak, niece, Karen Wolfe, nephew, Paul Wozniak. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Michael Chornak; brother John J. "DoDo" Wozniak, Sr., Son-in-law Ronald Skira and nephew John J. "Rabbitt" Wozniak, Jr. Family and Friends are asked to meet at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, Monessen on Friday, November 25, 2022 at 10:00 am for a funeral mass with Fr. Michael Crookston as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, PA.
