Catherine Kay Susan Hecklick Bruno; 85; of Rostraver Township; died Thursday; Oct. 12; 2006; in the Jefferson Regional Medical Center; surrounded by her loving family. Born in Arnold City on Aug. 19; 1921; she was the daughter of the late Steven and Margaret Toth Hecklick. A homemaker and former beauty operator; Kay assisted her husband in operating the family businesses; The Twin Coaches and the Holiday Inn; both in Rostraver Township. She was a member of the Church of St. Anne in Rostraver Township and a member and past president of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She is survived by her two sons; Dr. Gerald Bruno; of Jackson; Miss.; and Bruce Bruno; of Rostraver Township; with whom she made her home; two daughters; Maria Kite and husband Ken; of Rostraver Township; and Judy Main and husband Gary; of Frederick; Md.; a sister; Christine Carr; of Fayette City; two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law; Rose Calderone; Dr. Regis and Angeline Serinko; all of Rostraver Township; and Al Bruno; of Huntingdon Beach; Calif.; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Frank J. Bruno; on July 21; 1988; a sister; Mary Ball; and a brother; William Hecklick. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 9:30 a.m. in the JAMES C.
