Catherine R. ‘Kacky’ Vargo; 71; of Fayette City; died Tuesday; Nov. 18; 2008; in Mon Valley Hospital Inc. She was born Sept. l3; 1937; in North Charleroi; a daughter of the late Anthony Mazza and the late Mary A. (Miller) Mazza. She is survived by four daughters; Angel Olszewski and Valerie Dusi; both of Fayette City; Vickie Vargo and fiance Dan Lynn; of Perryopolis; and Chrisy Booley and husband Chris; of Newell; a son; Andrew T Vargo; of Connellsville; a brother; Gordon Mazza and wife Margaret; of Belle Vernon; a sister; Rose Marie McFall; of Belle Vernon; four grandchildren; Alan Olszewski; Aaron 0lszewski; Joseph B. Dusi II; and John Booley. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her first husband; George Dacko; and her second husband; Andrew Vargo; two sisters; Sara Bruce and Toni Ann Krowskie; and one brother; James Mazza. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; 334 Main St.; Fayette City (724-326-5621); on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday; Nov. 21; until 11 a.m. when a blessing service will take place with the Rev. Lawrence Manchas officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
