Catherine Louise Kobosky; 92; of Fairhope (Belle Vernon); passed away Friday; Jan. 14; 2011; in Latrobe Care Center. A daughter of the late Eva Deneen and Rudolph H. Anderson Sr.; she was born in Carnegie on April 6; 1918. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; Catherine was a member of Marion Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star; Monongahela Chapter 108. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law; Carl R. and Kathleen Kobosky; of Belle Vernon; and Arvid D. and Kathleen Kobosky; of New Alexandria; six grandchildren; Richard; Debbie; Rudolph; Kristie; Michele and Susan; four great-grandchildren; Jaime; Wesley; Austin and Travis; and a great-great-grandson; Connor. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Walter Kobosky Jr.; on Dec. 12; 1988; a sister; Lena Elizabeth Hall; and a brother; Rudolph H. Anderson Jr. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC.; (724-929-5300); 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be at noon Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Sharon Kramer officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Eastern Star will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home to hold services.
