Mrs.Joseph (Catherine) Riskey died at the home of her parents;Mr.and Mrs.George Kuhn;Sr.;on Market street;Monday night May 3;1909;about 11 o’clock;aged 25 years;8 months and one day. Mrs. Riskey had been ill for about a year;and suffered much;yet she was always cheerful. She had tuberculosis and knew she could not get well. She was at one time a member of the Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the local council of the Degree of Pocahontas;and a committee attended the funeral services which were held Thursday afternoon;May 6;1909;at 2 o’clock. She leaves a husband and one child;besides her aged parents to mourn her loss. Rev.W.S.Dudley;pastor of the Free Baptist Church;conducted the funeral services and the interment was made in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
