Carrie F. Andreis, 85,of Belle Vernon Apartments,died Thursday,July 25,1991.at 3:05 p.m. in the H.C.Frick Community Health Center, Mt. Pleasant. Born Sept. 16,1905,in Belle Vernon,she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Sacco Reed. Mrs. Andreis had lived in Akron, Ohio,for 60 years before returning to the Belle Vernon area three years ago. She was a member of the High Street Christian Church in Akron,and the Dorcas Class of the church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew,in 1976,and a daughter, Frances L. Andreis,in 1930. Surviving are two brothers, James and Arthur Reed, both of Belle Vernon;four sisters, Lena Fowler and Mrs. Lloyd (Genevieve) Haffner,both of Pasadena, Calif.,and Millie Caputo and Mrs. Joseph (Virginia) Toth,both of Belle Vernon; a sister-in-law,Theresa Lupori of Belle Vernon and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.,with the Rev. Donald A. Bowers,pastor of First Christian Church,Belle Vernon,officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
