Carolina P. Parigi of 518 4th Street, Monessen, died Friday, June 15,1984,in Mon Valley Hospital at 9:56 a.m. She was 93. Born in Italy on April 23,1891,she was the daughter of the late Paulo and Eliza Paggini. She was a member of St. Cajetan Roman Catholic Church,the Rosary Altar Society of which she was the first president,Christian Mothers of the church, Regina Lodge of Monessen Sons of Italy,and a charter member of NIPA Ladies Lodge. She had been a Monessen resident since 1913. Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth Vivian,with whom she made her home; two grandchildren,Alfred Vivian of Monessen and Cassandra Vivian of Cairo, Egypt; four great-grandchildren,Kathleen Karbowsky,Thomas Vivian,Michael Vivian and Kristin Vivian; and four great-great-grandchildren,Patricia Ann Karbowsky,Michael VivianJr.,Michal Karbowsky and Joseph Vivian. Friends will be received at the Raymond D. Dalfonso Funeral Home,441 Reed Ave.,Monessen Sunday,2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Blessing services will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the St. Cajetan Roman Catholic Church,Monessen,with the Rev. P. Lino Ramellini as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parish Rosay will be said Sunday at 8 p.m.
