Carole L. Stofan, 86, formerly of Belle Vernon, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024 in Magnolia Gardens, Southern Pines, NC. A daughter of the late William and Delma Trozzo Stofan, she was born in N. Charleroi on November 25, 1937. Carole was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pinehurst, NC and was a former member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon. She had resided most of her life in North Belle Vernon prior to moving to North Carolina in 2009 to be close to her brother. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Ellie Stofan of Southern Pines, NC, many beloved cousins, including, Joanie Wassilchalk of Belle Vernon, two nieces and one nephew. Visitation and funeral service arrangements will be announced later.
