Carole D. Province; 68; of Speers; died Wednesday; Sept. 26; 2007; in her home. A daughter of the late Arnold S. and Anna L. Hamilton DeShong; she was born in Webster on Nov. 18; 1938. She was a member of the Speers United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star; Chapter 108; where she was a past Worthy Matron. Previously; she held memberships in the White Shrine; serving as past Worthy High Priestess; and the Morning Star Grange. Carole retired as an insurance clerk at Mon Valley Hospital in 2004 after 30 years of service. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law; Debra A. and Lou LaManna; of Speers; two sons and one daughter-in-law; Curtis R. Province and fiancee; Christy Bancroft; of Houtzdale; and James L. and Terri Province; of Meridian; Miss.; one sister; Irma J. Seiple; of Monongahela; one brother and sister-in-law; Raymond Y. and Linda DeShong; of New Berlin; Wis.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
