Carol Beatty Monack; 77; of Sun City Hilton Head; S.C.; died Monday; Feb. 13; 2006; in her home. A daughter of the late Milton and Mabel Ream Beatty; she was born in North Charleroi on Oct. 26; 1928. She grew up in Belle Vernon; North Charleroi and Monessen and graduated from Monessen High School with the class of 1946. After her marriage in 1950; she resided in Columbus; Ga.; Monessen; Clairton; Rostraver Township (Sweeney Plan); Wheeling; W.Va.; St. Louis; Mo.; and Van Wert; Ohio. In 1965; she organized and was the first president of the Rostraver Woman’s Club. Survivors include her husband of 56 years; Jack N. Monack; two daughters and sons-in-law; Susan and Douglas Kreitzer; of Delaware; Ohio; and Nancy and Paul Armstrong; of Dyersburg; Tenn.; two grandsons; two step granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law; Jane and Ralph Perry; of Leesburg; Fla.; and one sister-in-law; Wanda Monack; of Charleroi.
