Carol A. Pendo; age 68; of Washington Township; passed away Sunday; June 10; 2012 at her residence with her family by her side. A daughter of the late Paul and Anna Mae Gauden Melvin; she was born in North Charleroi on December 3; 1943. She resided in Belle Vernon all of her life. She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and worked as a Special Police Officer for Washington Township. Survivors include her husband Frank R. Pendo; with whom she just celebrated 51 years of marriage on June 8; a daughter and son-in-law Donna and Brian Timko of North Belle Vernon; three sons; Frank Pendo; Jr. and his fiancé Anita Fazzini of Star Junction; Paul Pendo and his fiancé Linda Yex of Yukon; Ronald Pendo and his wife Chrissy of California; six grandchildren; Terri Meyers; Melinda Pendo; Brooke Timko; Mylaina; Gabryelle and Gavin Pendo; one great-grandson; Jesse Howell; Jr.; a brother-in-law; James Pendo and his wife Donna of Virginia Beach; VA; her best friend and caregiver of 17 years; Pam Godlewski and her dog R.J. Friends will be received 6 to 9 P.M.
