Carmella Corkie (DeBone’) lang;87; of Monessen;died Wednesday;February 10;2010 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc. She was born in Pitcairn;on February 19;1922;the daughter of the late Thomas and Marian DeBone’. Mrs. Lang has been a resident of Monessen for over 60 years;and had worked as a presser for Brookvale Clothing Factory. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R.C.Church and was an avid bingo player. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law;Thomas D. and Patti Lang of Belle Vernon;daughter and son-in-law;Tanya and Lawrence Sobek of Monessen;brother and sister-in-law;Joseph and Shirley DeBone of North Braddock;three grandchildren;Natalie R.Glaspey and husband Christian;Thomas A.Lang;all of Belle Vernon;Yancy J.Sobek and wife Melissa of Monessen;four great-grandchildren;Christian;Carley;and Connor Glaspey;and Isabella Sobek;and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband Guy Lang;granddaughter Andrea P.Lang;four brothers;William;Ernie;Andy;and Albert;and by four sisters;Margaret;Renee;Dorothy;and Brigette. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services;441 Reed Avenue;Monessen(724 684-8750). Services will be held on Saturday;February 13;2010;beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home;followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany Of Our Lord R.C.Church.
