Obituary

Carlo Pesi,82,of 9 Graham Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Saturday,May 30,1970,at 7 a.m.at his home. Mr.Pesi,who was born in Italy,was a Belle Vernon resident for 47 years. He retired in 1955 from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was a member of St.Sebastian R.C.Church of Belle Vernon and Garibaldi Society of Dunlevy. Surviving are his widow,Assunta Mazzei Pesi,three sons,Ector of Wheeling,W.Va.,Carl A.and Mario of Belle Vernon,three daughters,Mrs.Yola Neil of Belle Vernon,Mrs.Carmen (Rosita) Fantini of Charleroi,Mrs.William (Eva) McGill of Belle Vernon,a sister,Mrs.Bruna Ciglia of Milan,Italy,16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon. Prayer service there Tuesday,June 2,at 9:30 a.m.followed by Requiem High Mass in St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,at 10 a.m. The Very Rev.Martin J.O'Toole,pastor,will officiate. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Freguson is funeral director.
