Carl M.Fayak Sr.;528 Fayette Ave.;Belle Vernon;died suddenly at 12:07 a.m. Friday;Oct.11;1985;in the St.Clair Hospital. He was 57. Mr.Fayak was born in Charleroi on May 19;1928;a son of the late Michael and Ann Polacek Fayak. He was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church of Belle Vernon;the Polish and Slovak clubs of Monessen and the Elks of Pittsburgh. He lived in Belle Vernon the past 31 years and formerly lived in Monessen. He was employed at the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.Monessen plant. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a sister;Rosemarie Fayak. Survivors include his wife;Josephine Pasqua Fayak;a son;Carl M.Jr.;of Roscoe;a daughter;Mrs.Carla Bogden of Pittsburgh;a brother;retired Air Force Major Edward G.Fayak of Altus;Okla;two sisters;Mrs.Gabe (Dolores) Gembarosky of Brookfield;Ohio;and Mrs.William (Ruth) Bielawski of Monessen;a granddaughter;Michol Alexandra Bogden;and a mother-in-law;Mary Pasqua;with whom he made his home. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayer services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
