Obituary

Carl L.Rihtarcik,42,of Cook St.Ext.,Fayette City,died suddenly at his home Friday,Nov.6,1964 at 1 a.m. He suffered a heart condition. Mr.Rihtarcik,who was a member of Holy Spirit R.C.Church,Fayette City,and American Legion Post 659 of Belle Vernon,was employed at the Allenport plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co. He served with the United States Army during World War II. Mt.Rihtarcik was born in Fayette City on Sept.23,1922. Surviving are his widow,Christina,one son,Stephen at home,four sisters,Mrs.Frank (Mary) Palvekosky of Charleroi,Mrs.Frank (Marge) Vesely of Dunlevy,Mrs.George (Kathryn) Kaschok of Stockdale,and Mrs.Fred (Dorothy) Staney of Pittsburgh,two brothers,Joseph of Fairhope and Frank of Fayette City. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,after 7 p.m. Nov.6. Prayer there Monday,Nov.9,at 9 a.m. followed by Reguiem Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Spirit R.C.Church,Fayette City. The Rev.William Gavron,pastor,will officiate. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery.
