Carl K. Strenske,924 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Tuesday April 12,1983 at 10:03 pm. in Mon Valley Hosptial. He was 69. Mr. Strenske was born April 15,1913,in Belle Vernon,a son of the late Charles Strenske and Jean Muir Strenske,who survives. A life-long resident of Belle Vernon,he was a member and ordained elder of the First Presbyterian Church,Belle Vernon. He was also a director and secretary of the Belle Vernon Cemetery Association,a member of the Free and Accepted Masons,Belle Vernon lodge 643. He was a member of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Right Valley of Uniontown,the Council Chapter Consistory of Pittsburgh,the Syria Temple of Pittsburgh and the Rostrever Twp. AARP. He was employed as an auto mechanic for 50 years at the Roley Brothers (now Jack Roley) Pontiac Garage. Survivors include his wife,Mary Louise Reynolds Strenske;a son,Kenneth R.,Belle Vernon;a daughter, Mrs. John (Kay) Conger,Donora;a brother,Harold W.,Belle Vernon;a sister,Mrs. Edward (Ruth) Braithwood,Belle Vernon;and three grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Charles B.LaPlaca officiating. Burial will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
