Carl A.Dunlop of Fairhope;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;May 18;1986;at 11:59 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Twp.;after a lengthy illness. He was 81. Mr.Dunlop was born Jan.29;1905;in Pittsburgh;a son of the late Archibald and Bertha Munch Dunlop. He was a retired employee of the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad’s Newell Yards. Mr.Dunlop was a protestant by faith. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Clara M.Dunlop;on March 3;1985;and by one brother;William Dunlop. Surviving are three sons;Carl D.;Howard T.and John A.Dunlop;all of Belle Vernon;five daughters;Mrs.Michael (Betty) Skurla;at home;Mrs.George (Helen) Bronson and Mrs.Evelyn Sethman;both of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Jack (Ruth) Kott of Los Angeles;Calif.;and Mrs.Gerald (Linda) Chovan of Utica;N.Y.;22 grandchildren;18 great-grandchildren;one sister;Mrs.Helen Paul;of Hickory;N.C.;and two stepsisters;Edna Shredle and Myrtle Eshaw;both of Monroeville. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.;Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and until 11 a.m.Wednesday;the hour of services in the funeral home;with the Rev.Mary Howard;pastor;Marion United Presbyterian Church;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
