Obituary

Cammello Zucconi, 75, of 604 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, died Monday,Jan.19,1976, in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness. In ill health the past several years, Mr. Zucconi was last admitted to Charleroi Division Hospital on December 5,1975. A son of the late Arturo and Corrine Monti Zucconi, he was born in Belle Vernon on Dec. 29, 1900. Mr. Zucconi owned and operated Zucconi Appliance Company at 509 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, until retiring in 1960. He belonged to St. Sebastian's Catholic Church and the Italian Beneficial Society, both of Belle Vernon. Surviving are his widow, Madeline Mitchell Zucconi, one son, Dennis A. Zucconi of Belle Vernon: three sisters, Mrs. Olga Venneri and Mrs. Frank (Fausca) Pierallini, both of Belle Vernon, and Mrs. Bruni Reilly of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., one brother, Homer Zucconi of Belle Vernon, and three grandchildren, Dennis, Marcia and Bruce Zucconi. Friends will be received at the Gerald R. Essey Funeral Home, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, after 7p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:30 a.m.,followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.in St.Sebastian Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. David R.Rhome is temporary supervisor in charge.
