Calvin W.Hill III;age 63;Brownsville;Pa.;died at his home Thursday;November 7;2013 after a lingering illness. Born September 12;1950 in Monessen;Pa.;he was the son of the late Calvin W.Hill Jr.and June Scott of Hiller;Pa.;who survives and with whom he resided for the past eleven years. Calvin graduated from Brownsville High School in 1970 and Computer System Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in Paralegal Law. He was employed as a clerk at the City-County Building for the City of Pittsburgh. He was also employed by Easter Seals Society until he became ill. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his step-father;Ivory D.Scott;maternal grandparents;the Reverend and Mrs.John Hughes;paternal grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.Calvin W.Hill Sr. He is survived by one son;Christopher C.Hill of Fort Meyers;Florida;his mother;June Scott of Hiller;Pa.;one sister;Sharon Rose Chaney of Brownsville;a very dear aunt;Betty Sartor of Brownsville;one nephew;Anthony A.Chaney of Pittsburgh;and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Sunday;November 10;2013 from 6 to 9 p.m.at CANAAN BAPTIST CHURCH;Second Street;Hiller;Pa.;where funeral services will be held on Monday;November 11;2013 at 11 a.m.with the Reverand Andrew Dent officiating.
