Calvin Clegg, aged 60 years, died Wednesday, November 29, 1939,at his home, 817 Broad avenue, Belle Vernon, following a few days' illness of pneumonia. He was a painter by trade and had resided in Belle Vernon all his life. Surviving are his wife, Mrs.Mary Clegg, and two children, James and Betty June, both at home. Two sisters, Mrs. Frank Warman and Mrs. Millie Wilkinson, both of Belle Vernon, also survive, along with two brothers, William Clegg, of Point Marion, and Lint Clegg, of Monongahela. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home until 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, when funeral services will be held, conducted by Rev. James Rainey, pastor of the Belle Vernon Christian Church. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
