Bruce Stephens;67;of Gillespie R.D.1 Fayette City;was pronounced dead on arrival at Mon Valley Hospital on Friday;Dec.8;1978. Born in Allegheny County on Jan.12;1911;he was the son of the late Martin and Jennie Porter Stephens. A Protestant by faith;Mr.Stephens was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II and a retired employee of the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He is survived by his widow;Donna Johnson Stephens;two sisters;Mrs.Sara White of Natrona Heights;Pa.;and Bessie Dowler of Brownsville. Friends will be received after 7 p.m.Saturday in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;334 Main St.;Fayette City. Services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m.in the funeral home;with the Rev.Fred Gnatuk of the Fayette City United Presbertian Church officiating. Interment will be n Belle Vernon Cemetery.
