Brian K. Backos; 19; of Bentleyville; died Monday; Oct. 7; 2002; in his home. He was born May 22; 1983; in Uniontown; the son of Donald J. Backos of Monongahela and Janet Hone Backos of Belle Vernon. He was employed as the service manager of Backos Mechanical Service Co. of Monongahela. In addition to his parents; he is survived by two sisters; Monica Backos and fiancé Gary Boyd of Grindstone; and Kelli Backos of Belle Vernon; his paternal grandparents; Paul and Beverly Backos of Perryopolis; three uncles; Fred Hone Jr. of Uniontown; James Backos of Perryopolis; and Robert Backos and wife Susan of Fayette City; and two cousins; Eric and Ryan Backos of Fayette City. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Fred and Lillian Hone. Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC.; 106 E. Independence St.; Perryopolis on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.; Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and Friday until 11 a.m.; the hour of service with the Rev. Frank Todaro officiating.
