Bob L. Young,83,of North Charleroi,went to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov. 2,2012,in the Meadowcrest Nursing Center, Bethel Park. He was born March 23,1929,in Fayette City,the son of the late Clarence and Lois Stark Young. Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed at the A and P Co.,Baltimore Life Insurance Co.,Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Allenport Plant, Fields of Heather and various car dealerships,most recently the R and M Motors in Belle Vernon. Bob is survived by his wife, Yvonne Teulle Young,with whom he celebrated 61 years of marriage; his son,Terry Lee Young and wife, Monica Jean,of Charleroi; two daughters,Cheryl Marie Matyas and fiance,Dave Weaver,of Fallowfield Township,and Pamela Lynne Marsich and husband,Bill "Swacker" of Charleroi; his brother, Jack L. Young and wife, Martha,of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; seven grandchildren,Jenna and Michael Matyas,Ryan Marsich,Dr. Michelle Harvison and husband Dan,Kimberly Marsich and fiance,Seth Vargo,Adam Young and wife Lyndsey Young,and Chad Young and one great-grandson, Issac Young. He is also survived by his special nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 9,2012,in the Grace United Methodist Church,Coal Center. Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home,Charleroi,is in charge of the arrangements. The family requests in lieu of flowers,memorial contributions be made to Grace United Methodst Church,Coal Center, in memory of Bob Young.
