Blanche Ray of 322 Highland Ave.;North Charleroi;died Thursday;July 3;1986 at 9:20 p.m.in the Bourgs Personal Care Home;Farmington. She was 86. She was born Feb.14;1900 in Newell;a daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Knowles. Mrs.Ray was a member of the First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband;Harvey Davis;Sr.;her second husband;Samuel Ray and one son;Lawrence Davis. Survivors include one son;Harvey Davis Jr.of Sarasota;Fla;two daughters;Mrs.Bradley (Grace) Metzger of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Bert E.Davis of New York;one sister;Sarah Lesefky of Charleroi;six grandchildren;including David Biles;who resided with Mrs.Ray;14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Friends will be recieved Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home Inc.;322 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi where a funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Jack Brownlee;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
