Blanche M. Sabo; 90; of Rostraver Township; formerly of Belle Vernon; died Sunday; Dec. 16; 2007; in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. A daughter of the late John and Caroline Russell Kosik; she was born in Pricedale on July 4; 1917. Blanche was a lifelong member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon; the former Catholic Daughters of America; and retired from the former Hill’s Department Store. Survivors include a daughter; Bernadette Zunic of Rostraver Township; a son and daughter-in-law; William and Patty Sabo of Coal Center; three grandchildren; Michael Sabo of Georgetown; Ky.; Jonathan Sabo and his wife; Julie; of Belle Vernon and Annette Trenk of Rostraver Township; two stepgrandchildren; Tifani Russell and Randy J. Russell; and three great-grandchildren; Robert; Joseph and Jonathan Sabo Jr. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by a brother; Frank Kosik; and a sister; Stella Kosik. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC.; (724-929-5300); 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon; where a blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday; followed by a funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church.
