Blanche M. Russell,Grandview Drive, Uniontown (formerly of the Belle Vernon area),died Tuesday, May 13,1986,at 2:26 p.m. in Uniontown Hospital. She was 85. Mrs. Russell was born in Ellsworth on April 26,1901, a daughter of the late John and Sarah Bosley Robinson. She attended the Nazarene Church of Belle Vernon while living in the area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Russell,Oct. 17,1960; a son,John D. in 1974;three sisters and four brothers. Survivors include four sons, James of Uniontown,Harry of Belle Vernon,Maurice of Belle Vernon R.D.2 and Samuel of Belle Vernon R.D.4; five daughters,Mrs. Margaret DiCarlo of Uniontown R.D.6,Mrs. Bertha Kunkle of Weatherly, Mrs. Geraldine Brewer of Hopwood Mrs. Julia Geller of Uniontown and Mrs. Sue Carol Flenniken of Titusville, Fla.,38 grandchildren;36 great-grandchildren, a brother, Rayond Robinson of Grindstone and a sister. Friends will be received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City on Thursday from 1 to 9 p.m. and Friday until 11 a.m. when services will be held in the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Jones of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Uniontown officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
