Blanche Evans Kuhar, 83,of 521 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi,died Tuesday, June 13,1989,at 12:48 a.m.,in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born June 23,1905,in Belle Vernon,a daughter of the late John F. and Elizabeth E. Smock Evans. Mrs. Kuhar was a member of the First Presbyterian Church,Charleroi and a lifelong resident of the Mon Valley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Kuhar on July 25,1973; four brothers, John Evans,Glenn Evans,Raymond Evans and Henry Evans and one sister, Eva Belback. Surviving are one brothers,Marion "Toots" Evans of Belle Vernon; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Hixon of Virginia Beach, Va.,and Frances Evans of Charleroi and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon, where services will be held Thursday at 11am., with Rev. Francis M. Blair of the First Presbyterian Church,Charleroi,officiating. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
