Blanche Hilda Gough of Ridgeview Terrace;Monongahela R.D.1;died Thursday;Jan.29;1981 at 2:30 p.m.in the Jefferson Center;South Hills Health System. She was 79. Born Sept.10;1901 in Belle Vernon;she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Blackburn Shultz. Mrs.Gough had lived in Monongahela the last 11 years;formerly residing in the Belle Vernon area. Mrs.Gough was a former employee of the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital;retiring in 1967. She was a member of the Women’s Benefit Association. Mrs.Gough was preceded in death by her husband;Sylvester Wayne Gough of Belle Vernon;a daughter;Mrs.Robert (Blanche Hilda) Kopanic;with whom she resided;a brother;John Shultz of Charleroi R.D.2;and six grandchildren. Friends wil be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.William D.Morgan;pastor of the Wesley United Methodist Church;Connellsville;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director;is in charge of arrangements.
