Betty Mae Lorinchak;63; of Fayette City;died Thursday;Jan.11;1990;at 9:05 p.m. in her home after a lingering illness. She was born Dec.19;1926;in Washington Township;Fayette County;a daughter of the late Andrew Lorinchaek and Kathryn Lloyd Lorinchak;who survives and resides in Fayette City. She retired after 29 years of service from the former Atlantic and Pacific (A&P) Tea Company store which had been located in the former Belle Vernon Tri-County Plaza. She was a member of the Braznell Christian and Missionary Alliance Church;which she formerly served as church pianist. She also was a founder of the Junior Church at the Braznell Christian and Missionary Alliance Church;where she was an officer of the Womens’s Missionary Prayer Fellowship and a member of the Bible Class. Surviving;in additin to her mother;are two brothers;Andrew Lorinchak of Sterling;Va.;and Edmund Lorinchak of Pittsburgh;three sisters;Mrs.Sheridan (Jean) Livingstone of Fayette City;Mrs.Gilbert (Kay) Osborne of Fayette City R.D.1;and Mrs. William (Judy) Arrow of Fayette City R.D.1;and numerous nieces and nephews;and great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 11 a.m.;the hour of service in the funeral home;with the Rev.Carl Hughes;pastor;Braznell Christian and Missionary Alliance Church;and the Rev.Miller Lydick of Washington;Pa.;co-officiating. Burial will be held in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family suggests contributions in memory of the deceased may be made to the Braznell Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangemsnts.
