Betty Mae Lorinchak;63; of Fayette City;died Thursday;Jan.11;1990;at 9:05 p.m. in her home after a lingering illness. She was born Dec.19;1926;in Washington Township;Fayette County;a daughter of the late Andrew Lorinchaek and Kathryn Lloyd Lorinchak;who survives and resides in Fayette City. She retired after 29 years of service from the former Atlantic and Pacific (A&P) Tea Company store which had been located in the former Belle Vernon Tri-County Plaza. She was a member of the Braznell Christian and Missionary Alliance Church;which she formerly served as church pianist. She also was a founder of the Junior Church at the Braznell Christian and Missionary Alliance Church;where she was an officer of the Womens’s Missionary Prayer Fellowship and a member of the Bible Class. Surviving;in additin to her mother;are two brothers;Andrew Lorinchak of Sterling;Va.;and Edmund Lorinchak of Pittsburgh;three sisters;Mrs.Sheridan (Jean) Livingstone of Fayette City;Mrs.Gilbert (Kay) Osborne of Fayette City R.D.1;and Mrs. William (Judy) Arrow of Fayette City R.D.1;and numerous nieces and nephews;and great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 11 a.m.;the hour of service in the funeral home;with the Rev.Carl Hughes;pastor;Braznell Christian and Missionary Alliance Church;and the Rev.Miller Lydick of Washington;Pa.;co-officiating. Burial will be held in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family suggests contributions in memory of the deceased may be made to the Braznell Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
