Betty Louise Stanko,67,of 315 Belle Vernon Apartsments,Belle Vernon, died Sunday, April 24,1994 at 4:15 p.m. in Jefferson Center Hospital. She was born in McKeesport,Oct. 15,1926, a daughter of the late Walter L. and Martha J. Fagan Staley. Mrs. Stanko had spent most of her life in the Belle Vernon area and had lived in the Belle Vernon Apartments since 1991. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Ernestine) Norelli of Belle Vernon R.D.1 and Mrs. Robert (Martha) Usher of Belle Vernon; one brother, David Staley of Perryopolis;two sisters, Dorothy Sadler of Belle Vernon R.D.1 and Laura Robb of Coatsville and six grandchildren, Lisa, James and Nicholas Norelli and Jason,John and Jill Usher. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,Paul J. Stanko on Nov.5,1991 and a brother,Samuel Staley. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service for Mrs Stanko will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,with the Rev. Dr. Thomas St. Clair of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Stanko's name to the First United Methodist Church,Belle Vernon. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
