Mrs. Bessie Rochester, aged 57 years, wife of Walter E. Rochester, died Thursday afternoon, February 18,1937 at her home, 514 East Schoonmaker avenue, after a short illness. The family has resided in this city for the past thirty years. Surviving are the husband and the following children: Mrs. Samuel Galloway, of this city; Mrs. John Duncan, of Philadelphia, and Mrs. John Baddy, of Richmond, Va. A brother, R. C. Tollivar, of New York City, and a nephew, W. C. Thomas, of Pittsburgh, also survive. The remains will be at the Kelly Funeral home until Sunday. Funeral services will bo held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Waynan A. M. E. Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
