Bessie M.Erwin;95;of Charleroi;died Friday;Feb.22;1991;in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Mrs.Erwin was born March 1;1895;in Washington;Pa.;a daughter of the late Charles D.Taylor and Jennie McClure Taylor. Her husband;Herbert Erwin;died in 1970. Surviving are three cousins;Meryle Clauson of Columbia City;Ind.;George McClure of Eighty Four;and Thelma Carter of Cecil Township;three close friends;Edith Cannon;Frances Michler and Leahman Hudson;and her friends at the Monarch House in Charleroi where she made her home. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home;Inc.;226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home;with the Rev.Stephen Hurnyak;pastor;St.John Lutheran Church;Charleroi;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
