Collapsing Wednesday night while visiting her husband in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital,Mrs. Bessie Kuhn Staup,50,wife of Westwood Staup,of 21 Carson Street,Speers,died there Thursday morning,February 5,1942 at 9:30 o'clock. She had gone to the hospital Wednesday evening to visit her husband who was a patient since Tuesday with an infected arm. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Speers;the Dames of Malta,Protectors Club of the same organization;Daughters of America and W.B.A. of Belle Vernon. Surviving besides her husband,are her father,John R. Kuhn,Sr.of Speers;a daughter,Mrs. Selma Ginglardi,of Belle Vernon,two brothers,William R. Kuhn of Speers and John D. Kuhn of Belle Vernon;two sisters,Mrs. William Jones of Speers and Mrs. George McGill of McClellandtown;and one grandchild. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon,Feb.8,at 2:30 o'clock from the late home in Speers,with Rev. James N. Rainey,pastor of the First Christian Church, in Belle Vernon,in charge.
