Bertila M. Renner,55, of 112 Koslasky Drive, Belle Vernon (Fairhope),died Thursday, Dec. 7,1989,at 1 a.m. in the Presbyterian Hospital of Pittsburgh from complications from two liver transplants. The first transplant was performerd Nov. 12 and the second on Nov. 17. She was born in Guantanamo,Cuba,on Dec. 28,1933. Both of her parents are deceased. Mrs. Renner was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon and had lived in Fairhope for the last 26 years. She had been employed at Perry Maufacturing Company of Perryopolis for the last 14 years. She is survived by her husband, Donald L. Renner,two sons and daughters-in-law,David and Cathy Renner of Austelle,Ga. and Ronald and Karen Renner,at home, a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Lisa) Vrable of Belle Vernon, two brothers and three sisters,all in Cuba and two grandchildren,Shannan and Chad Renner. Friends will be received at Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Prayer service will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home,followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
