Mrs.Bertha Blythe Shearer;age 81 years;of 111 Liberty Ave.Belle Vernon;died Friday;May 2;1975;at 3:15 a.m.at the Edgewood Nursing Home;Youngstown;Pa.;following a prolonged illness. Born February 14;1894 in Jefferson Twp.;she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret Wills Blythe. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church;Belle Vernon and an honorary member of the Women’s Association of the church. Surviving are her husband;Frederick F.Shearer;one son;Robin C.Shearer of San Josie;California;one daughter;Mrs.William (Thelma) Glovier of Monessen;four grandchildren;two great-grandchildren and one brother;Ollie Blythe of Perryopolis. Friends will be received in the Toner-Essey Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.;Sunday from 12 to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services Sunday evening at 7:30 with Dr.S.Arthur Talman;pastor of the First Presbyterian Church;officiating. Interment Monday at 10:30 a.m.in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
